there are five different dye rags
- #1 dark brown dye rag
- #2 brown dye rag
- #3 brown amber dye rag
- #4 amber dye rag
- #5 light amber dye rag
Step one (using #2 brown stain): dab perimeter on body, fill in outer edge of body. work stained area a couple times.
Step two(using #3 brown amber stain rag): dab inner perimeter (BUT NOT CENTER) of stain, work brown outer edge into inner dabbed area.
Step three (using #4 amber stain rag): Work in area just covered in step two to lighten blend.
Step four (using (using #5 light amber rag): Work entire un-stained center area and blend to edge.
Step five (using #1 dark brown rag): run along outer edge of body.
Step six (using #2 brown stain rag): blend outer edge back into center.
Step seven (using #3 brown amber rag): further blend edge
Step eight (using #4 amber rag): blend inner edge
Step nine (using #5 light amber rag): blend center
10: using clean rag, dry run over entire surface to remove excess stain.
11: using clean rag, blend outer edge all the way around
12: using clean rag, blend inner center
13:adding third(primary) color: starting from center, work primary color (bright yellow) , finish at the outer edge.
14:with clean rag dry down surface , complete.
Dry guitar (one day), prep for finishing (I'm think solarez -can't believe its not lacquer")
