Pulled the trigger on staining the W400 wolf guitar

After watching a video on YT of a luthier talking about his experience using a solarrez product to finish his guitars I pulled the triger on the stain project.  I'm all in on this one!  I only plan on taking off the top surface of the guitar and leaving the sides and back as is.

The finish looks great and its done all in one day.  what the hell.

Unfortunately this little $30(shipping included) bottle of finishing product isn't the everything needed.  Amazon came to the rescue with a cheap hand rotary sander kit for around $40 with shipping

And the last bit purchase tonight was some color dye from ebay.

 The powder kit of 5 colors was under $20 after shipping.  What I'm thinking is go with black first to bring out the grain.  And then figure out what I'll do from there.
